Jitsi is open source and has more practical options than google meet. We 
can also spin our own jitsi server keeping everything under run roof.

They are both equally accessible through browser regardless of OS 
platform. Also I do not think you can associate dumb phone call ins in 
Meet though you can with SIP setup on Jitsi. If we want to remain true 
to open source tools and platforms, jitsi is the best way.

Also got secondary sourced repsonse on IRC for jitsi channel to answer 
the question about the logo: it is opinion that it resembles a genie.
