TOPIC ABSTRACT:
  Linda Kateley from Sun Microsystems will be presenting ZFS
  essentials. ZFS is Sun's next generation filesystem. ZFS's core
  features are integration of the filesystem and volume manager,
  checksumming to protect for silent data corruption, and removal of
  typical filesystem limits. Linda will talk about the architecture
  of ZFS and some basic how-to. 

ABOUT THE SPEAKER:
  Linda Kateley is a Solaris Architect for Sun Microsystems. She has
  spent the last 4 years traveling the country to help customers,
  big and small, architect for Solaris 10's features. After years in
  engineering and having a successful business in contract
  engineering, Linda got hooked on Unix. After working for number of
  Sun partners, spending years teaching for SunEd, she now is a
  evangelist of Solaris.
