UFO Chicago is active and meets on the 2nd and 4th
Thursdays of the month. Although the meeting
schedule on the web page is out of date, we post
meeting announcements and other topical traffic on
the mailing list. Check the archive for details.

FreeBSD folks are welcome. You won't be the
first, and probably won't be the only one in
attendance.

We do meet at a restaurant, which does not
currently provide WiFi. We have had a few people
bring laptops but it's not the usual practice,
because the group focuses on personal interaction
rather than demonstrations or presentations. If
you're looking for a more traditional Unix user
group experience, you might want to try Uniforum
Chicago, which has an excellent formal
presentation 11 times per year.

Our next meeting is on April 26. Hope to see you
there.
