I have been a user of Treo all the way up to and including the 700p. I have
also used blackberry in the not so distant past. A little over a month ago I
have acquired a Nokia E61, and I have not looked back to any of my previous
devices since (got it unlocked, then got the service with T-Mobile - here in
the US we are approx. 6-12 months behind technology available in Europe or
Asia, so you won't find this model with any provider - yet, but there are
stores in Chicago selling it). I am looking forward to trying the skinny
client on this Nokia, also, as it will allow, presumably, dual-mode usage
(GSM & Call Manager through WiFi). As a PDA, I have never, ever seen anything
this robust (browser, email, sync-ing, apps, etc.) and useful, either. I
think Palm and Motorola have a long way to go ... and, by the way, the E61
works in blackberry mode, also.
Don't take my word for any of the above - do a search for Nokia E61 on the
net, and just read the reviews of users ...
