Well my impression was that, while their merchandise was interesting,
they had a very poor selection. They had breadth, but no depth, such
as it were.

Like, they have (for example) a big deep bin of gears, so you look at
it and think "wow, a lot of gears," but when you actually start
digging, there's only five different types of gears in there. That's
not enough to build anything. I looked at a bunch of their other
merchandise and it's all the same, just a few different types of each
thing.

If you're building something, and you need a 200=B5F capacitor, for
example. Odds are they're not going to be able to help you, because
it's pretty doubtful that that's one of the 15 types of capacitor
they have.

So if you're a high school physical science teacher, or just like to
collect cool looking junk, then they can probably hook you up, but if
you're looking for a "brick-and-mortar" Mouser, they're not it.
