ok, so you can't use your scsi driver with 2.4.19 (vanilla)? ok, then

i'm pretty sure 2.4.18-rc1 is 'close enough'. use that.

the low-latency touches some pretty core parts of the kernel. so does
the xfs patch. there ain't no way around it: you're gonna have to
manually patch stuff. you any good at reading diff reject files? :>

applying a bunch of patches, some of which conflict, is 90%
pain-in-the-ass, but also sometimes yes, it can be hard to know how to
masage a rejected hunk of a patch into the tree.
