I agree.  The Chicago protest is not anti-Adobe.  EFF and Adobe have
agreed to talk in exchange for removing themselves from the protests.  As
a result, the EFF has called off the anit-Adobe protests and backed out of
the organizational processes that are going on.  As Pete mentioned in an
earlier post, we are taking the EFF's and Adobe's actions in good faith.

However, there are still issues worth protesting.  Dmitry Slyarov is in
federal custody awaiting an arraignment for breaking what many believe to
be an unjust and probably unconstitutional law.  That is the double issue
on which we are taking a stand in Chicago on Monday.  1) Free Dmitry and
2) Repeal the DMCA.

Many of you are upset at the actions of Adobe, and I can appreciate that.  
But that is not an issue we will be demostrating at this event, and if
anyone would like to demonstrate on that issue, I suggest organizing
another protest at a later date.
