Lets Take this off line...

Just a reminder :

1.  Go to the microsoft.com homepage and click on the
Code Red Worm link...check the instructions
there...they may lead you to a solution...

2.  If you cannot patch by 7:00 PM tonight (actually
if you're not patched now!), unplug your box from the
net and do not rejoin the net until there is an 'all
clear' (probably around Thursday).  Once off the net,
reboot your box.  That will clear any possible
infection, since this is a RAM-resident worm.

3.  If the Microsoft site does not help you, please
email me at
mcannon@ubiquicomm.com
sometime tomorrow morning, with a phone number and I
will try to help.

Keep in mind that until the CIAC and SANS give the
'all clear' and you are running any susceptible OS
(for right now, W2K - any flavor - and NT 4.x - any
flavor, including Workstation) you are at risk of
re-infection and becoming a vector.  If we don't stop
this tonite, more drastic and draconian measures may
be taken by the government against unprotected
hosts/vectors.
