I'm glad you got things to work.  And thanks for the high opinion of the 
guide.  As far as the financial rewards, if you really want to donate 
money consider giving a few bucks to the Free Software Foundation. 
[www.fsf.org]  It's tax deductable.  I just do the guide because it's 
fun and it's my way of giving something back to the Linux community. 
Now if there were a PayPal for beer it would be a different story.  :^)
