Rainer,

     what size ramdisks did you allow your kernel to support? Looks like maybe you only have it configured to use a maximum of 4mb, but it is trying to use an 8mb ramdisk.

hello,

great project you've got going here, i like the philosophy of starting
small. i believe i'm using the latest instructions - revision 2?

things went pretty smoothly up until ch. 5. after reviewing the info
(i'm on phase4d !) and rechecking the local_fs script i get the
following message when running it from pocket;

whether /dev/ram0 is mounted

/dev/ram0 : the filesystem size (according to the superblock) is 7000
blocks the physical size of the device is 4096 blocks>

etc, harps on about the same stuff.

so it looks like i have 2 problems, one with the local_fs script and
another with the filesystem i'm generating. i used a slack 2.4.20
kernel and sources to make the bootdisk and i think the default config
for blocksize was 7777 before i changed it for the PL kernel. any
advice would be appreciated. thanks.
