I chose coreutils because it is now the latest version and I'm trying to
stay current with all of the packages. I'm guessing that the problems
with building it might be workstation related. I have had no problems
building on a P-133/64M machine.

How much does this reduce the size of the binary? Is it a significant
amount? I've never actually done a side-by-side comparison. If the
resulting binary is not that much different in size I'd like to keep the
NLS support in. Just for the fact that I don't want people to start
thinking that NLS is bad and should be taken out in all cases.

What about an FAQ for each chapter? Do you think something like this
could provide answers without making the guide too wordy?

Comments are always good. That how things get fixed and improved.
