Yeah I am actually trying to mount a Microsoft formatted drive (ie, Fat32, NTFS, etc). I kept running into version incompatiblities between the kernel and the modules, so I just decided to incorporate that support into the kernel itself... problem solved! Is there anyone that knows if Linux can support the writing to an NTFS partition yet, or give me a work around?
Thanks,
Dave Henderson

Dave,
Are you trying to mount a Microsoft formatted hard drive? If not, and
you are trying to mount ext2 or some other Linux format, you can skip
NLS entirely. But if it's Windows vfat you'll definitely need NLS.
