I use this frequently at work (on openSUSE though) but I believe that it should be part of the standard kernel already. <table cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0" border="0"><tbody><tr><td valign="top" style="font:inherit;">Finally took the plunge and installed Xubuntu on my media box in the living room. <br><br>Does Xubuntu have GUIs to adjust settings ? Like network settings (DHCP vs static, etc) and screen resolution ? Haven't been able to find anything in the menus so far. Didn't find anything on Ubuntu forums either. <br><br>The last big hurdle is to access a Windows XP shared drive from Xubuntu. Can I do this without setting up Samba ? Please say yes......<br></td></tr></tbody></table><br>
