[UFO Chicago] Followup--UFO Meeting of 2014/01/11

A couple of follow-ups from last night's meeting:

I mentioned, but could not remember the name of, a
Linux distribution which was intended to resemble
some aspects of Apple's Mac OS/X.  Its abrupt and
not-fully-explained disappearance provoked
speculation and rumor in blogs, etc.

The name of that distribution was Pear Linux. Here

According to another member of our group who was
not present at the meeting, Newegg carries a
USB-to-PS/2 keyboard adaptor that works with IBM
Model M keyboards, and charges about half the
price charged by one of the well-known web sites
that specializes in Model M keyboards. Here is a
