What I personally find cool about clang (and I welcome hearing other
people's opinions) is simply that it exists.  That is to say, that in
approximately 5 years, it caught up with gcc, which had like a 25-year
head start, such that I heard Herb Sutter predict last month that
clang is likely to be fully compliant with C++14 ahead of gcc.  And
that's cool.
