|> Article: Orbitz Shows Mac Users Higher-Priced Options

|> Visitors to the online travel agency Orbitz see
|> different results depending on what kind of
|> computer they're using, according to The Wall
|> Street Journal. Users of Apple computers are
|> seeing more expensive options than those who
|> search for hotels using a PC.

|> Orbitz Worldwide Inc. has found that people
|> who use Apple Inc.'s Mac computers spend as
|> much as 30% more a night on hotels, so the
|> online travel agency is starting to show them
|> different, and sometimes costlier, travel
|> options than Windows visitors see.

In some online reports, Orbitz has denied the
practice described in the WSJ article.

I wonder if Orbitz similarly steers the results
for Linux users, (e.g., shows only results from
Motel 6 and Super8). :-)
