We considered other locations, but we have no
current plans to abandon the Nugget for regular
meetings.

The regular meeting location must satisfy several
constraints:

  a.  flexible seating suitable for a variable
      number of attendees, including attendees who
      arrive late;

  b.  tolerant of our party occupying a table or
      booth for the 2-3 hour length of our
      meetings;

  c.  open at least through 11:00 PM;

  d.  decent food;

  e.  convenient for those arriving by transit;

  f.  convenient for those driving (including
      parking);

  g.  not too loud;

  h.  reasonable prices;

and probably some others I've forgotten for now.
Although the Nugget has its limitations and
imperfections, we haven't discovered any other
place that meets the criteria.  If you know of
any, suggest away.

We have held occasional special meetings
elsewhere, e.g., at Burt's Pizza in Morton Grove,
and I expect that practice to continue.
