ZFS should be included; it isn't only for datacenters (anything that helps prevent data loss/corruption is for everyone, even if it's not immediately obvious to the user.)

Also, dtrace on OSX is, so I've heard, lobotomized so you can't use it on some of Apple's software (such as iTunes).

I can say that Sun has never cared about the consumer market.  Putting "Solaris on the Desktop" has never been important outside of a commercial setting.
