I remember looking at EoC some time ago but had forgotten about it. It
does seem to hit all of Brian's criteria pretty well. There's a Debian
package for it on the website but it doesn't appear to be in the etch
repository. That's a bit of a shame on account of lack of
security.debian.org support.
