I think the problem people tend to have with this kind of thing is
that it's done by headhunters in "dragnets" to harvest a large
collection of resumes. Even if you're looking for a job, answering one
of these will result in a pretty low probability that you'll get the
job, and if not it's just useless spam to sift through, all to make
the headhunter's job easier.

That said, this OP didn't seem particularly poorly targeted or
obnoxious.
