[UFO Chicago] Comcast Cuts Off Bandwidth Hogs

That is pretty old news.  There is a good blog 
http://comcastissue.blogspot.com/ detailing one mans attempt to deal 
with Comcast after being warned.  It appears to boil down to there is no 
hard limit.  If you use enough bandwidth to cause issues for other 
subscribers in your areas, you can get a warning.  In an area with few 
Comcast users, you can probably download movies all day and night and 
not run into a problem.  In an area where they are the only game in 
town, just trying to download a movie could get you into trouble.

Comcast of course does not phrase it that way because that would 
highlight the Achilles heel of cable modems ... it is a shared media.
