redvinegar has regrouped and is playing this thursday!
------------------------------------------------------

That's right folks, you heard it hear first! (Or possibly, you heard
it somewhere else first.) Anyway, redvinegar, (one of) your favorite
band(s), has gotten it's act back together and is about to start
looking for places to play in Chicago and the surrounding area!

Our new lineup includes Tim Hawkinson on bass, replacing Peter
Carlson, who has moved out to LA with his other band, Blue Stone.
Returning is Aaron Moon on drums, Phil Kuhl on guitar, and Peter
Peterson singing and playing.

That's a net personnel change of 25%, and a net increase of infinite%
in redvinegar related news items!

And what's more, REDVINEGAR IS PLAYING THIS THURSDAY NIGHT at Goose
Island Brewery, in Lincoln Park, Chicago. That's 1800 N. Clybourn
Ave., just North of North Avenue in beautiful Chicago IL. Music that
evening starts at 9:00 and redvinegar is scheduled to play some time
after 10:00. The show is free!

ALSO, we have finally completed our cd project. It's called
_meanwhile..._ and is a collection of recordings from 1998 (made on
Nathan Nordlund's boom box for a tape to be sent to Sweden) all the
way up to 2000, when redvinegar recorded it's last official practice
in Phil Kuhl's living room. It's a really clear and honest collection
of what we produced in those years, and for the low, low price of $5
(or $6 if you need it mailed somewhere), you can't beat it! (At least
not with another redvinegar cd you can't!)

We've also updated our website for the new regrouping; check it out
at: http://www.redvinegar.net/

And if you want to sign on to the official redvinegar announcements
list, see: http://www.redvinegar.net/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/radio/
If you want to continue to get redvinegar-related announcements, you
should subscribe to that list, as I will NOT post redvinegar
announcements to the Skates Sharpened and Repaired list again.

I hope you're all well -- and I hope that some of you can come see us
this week.

Yours,
Peter and the rest of redvinegar

PS: Please pass this message on to friends that you think might be
interested to know, as we all have a way of losing touch as time goes
on, and you know people that might like our music that we haven't had
the chance to meet.

PPS: If you were at one time signed up to the redvinegar radio list,
you may need to resubscribe, since the original subscriber list was
lost. Sorry!
