[UFO Chicago] Palm Sync & Linux

Hey gang,

I'm pretty excited because I basically pulled off my first Linux project
with very minimal outside help (i.e. asking someone for help every step of
the way).  I got my Palm Pilot (I've got an Palm Personal with the 2mb
upgrade card) syncing with Debian last night.  

I used the HOWTO at The Linux Documentation Project
(http://www.linuxdoc.org/HOWTO/PalmOS-HOWTO.html) for some of it, but
there was a pretty important step missing w/changing permissions on
/dev/ttyS0 so that user "brian" could access it.  I'm using JPilot
(http://jpilot.org)  which is a fairly faithful Linux version of the Palm
Desktop app.  Pretty cool.  

Well, just thought I'd let y'all know.
