I just shot him off a short 1-paragraph email saying "thanks".  Maybe if
he gets enough of them other congress critters will start to rethink
their positions.

Of course, Maria Cantwell (representative for Seattle, where I live (hi,
Chicago!))  isn't likely to budge on this one.  But hey, a boy can
dream.
