Last Monday's protest was, unfortunately, a flop.  There was something
else going on in the plaza that day and they had a permit for exclusive
use of the space.  As a result, our protest was stopped.  I have applied
for a permit for the 30th.  Note that we do not need a permit, because it
is not a permit to use the space.  Rather, it is a permit to use the space
exclusively.

Other than that, three people showed up.  There were about eight signs
made and ready between the three of us and a few hundred flyers.
Unfortunately, we only got to pass out about ten flyers, if that.
