>walk past the post office during their regular Monday noontime
Is there a drive up maildrop somewhere around there? Every time I'm in downtown Burlington during the day (especially in the morning right before people go to work and right after work) there is pretty much a constant flood of people driving up to the maildrop by the post office. If I was flyering in Burlington, that's where I'd be doing it on hot summer days because 1) I'd catch a lot of people in the early morning when it's cooler; 2) I'd catch a lot of different people; 3) I'd catch people with their windows down.
Other than drive up ATMs and fast food pick up windows, that's the only place I can think of that you can catch people in cars with their windows open. A mailbox will be either on city or federal property, and won't make people anxious like standing at an ATM...
Just an idea.
Oh, and on the summit: I completely forgot about it and didn't show up. I am disappointed that no one else thought of/fought for the one month anniversary, but oh well.
